My partner and myself experienced a delightful evening at Maison Livernois, conveniently located minutes away from our hotel - Fairmont Le Chateu Frontenac. Everything from our drinks to the main courses was made to perfection! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional. We recommend this place, as we will surely attend this restaurant again.
We were 6 here and everybody enjoyed the food. The price is moderate too, hence would recommend for occasional visit.
Great food. Nice bartender. Arrived without a reservation and was sat at the bar. No big deal, but the tables never filled up. The duck poutine was fantastic. The fried fondue was delicious. The escargot was rich and sumptuous. Great drink selection. Would recommend to anyone.
I am a woman and travelling solo, so I had dinner here tonight. I ordered for Caramelized Chicken Wings, Seafood Linguine and Cheesecake Truffles. Everything was great, but the dessert was potentially how everything must be tasting like in heaven. Quite literally the best dessert I have ever had in my life. The service was great, and ambience was pleasant. Will definitely come here again on my next visit to Quebec City
Walked in without a reservation and sat at the bar. No disappointments at all. The staff was friendly, the gin selection was outstanding, the bartender was knowledgeable, and the French onion soup and hot wings were very nice. We had such a good time that we'll go back tomorrow!
We booked ahead for a nice evening out and it didn't disappoint. The service was great, as was the atmosphere and the food. I had the braised beef cheek which was delicious, followed by the berry pudding...so good. Others in our party had the braised short rib and the pepperoni pizza, both of which they said was excellent. I would highly recommend.
Allison greeted us with such warmth and guided us through the menu. Attended to us with focused attention and guidance according to our tastes which was a welcomed start to our first honeymoon dinner. We started with the Salmon gravlax - the gin infusion was subtle and delicious. A delightful start to the meal Sizzling plates did not disappoint! The vegetables were grilled to an ideal texture The Salmon and the Flank Steak were seasoned to perfection. Recommendation of the chimichurri sauce for the salmon and the red wine sauce were pairings that elevated the taste even further. The sweet potato puree was a gentle flavour that paired well with the meats and sauces. Oliver is AMAZING! He created elemental thematic drinks tailored to our tastes with ingredients procured from the region. I had “water” and “air” which was somehow both delicate and strong and my husband had “earth” and “fire” which was rich and deliciously deceptive. Classic livernois lemon tart with vanilla ice cream and crumble on the side closed off our delicious first dinner of our honeymoon fabulously. It Made a cold Winter’s Day Spectacular
Sam is an incredable waiter! He is cutting ice like a real quebecer, not only that he’s cocktail are freaking amazing. Give that man a raise!
